KATHMANDU: A cyclist died after a truck hit a bicycle he was riding on in Ekantakuna-13 of Lalitpur on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Dammar Thapa Magar (40) of Bhaisipati.

Following the incident, Magar was rushed to the Patan Hospital for treatment but was later taken to the Norvic Hospital where he died during the course of treatment.

Police said that they have impounded the vehicle (Na 4 Kha 7079) and arrested its driver for investigation.
