Kathmandu, April 1:

Kamal Lama (24), a resident of Udaypur, who was injured when a truck hit the motorcycle he was riding on at Dhungedhara, Bansthali, KMC-16, today, died while he was being rushed to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for treatment, police said. Mahendra Kumar Ale (35), who was driving the motorcycle and got hurt in the accident, has been undergoing treatment at the hospital. Enraged locals set the truck on fire. Police and a fire engine doused the fire at 11 am. The truck driver, Surendra Ghimire, has been taken into custody, police said.
