KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 9
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has said that real happiness comes from maintaining positivity even during times of struggle.
Speaking at a program titled "Self-Awakening in Dialogue and Communication: Awakening to Happiness, Peace and Prosperity" organized by Press Council Nepal in collaboration with Jeevan Vigyan, Minister Kharel said, "The greatest happiness is to be happy even in sorrow."
He emphasized that mental peace can be long-lasting if challenges in life are accepted with self-satisfaction and positive thinking.
Spiritual teacher LP Bhanu noted the rise in mental health issues in Nepal and said that failing to seek happiness within oneself has contributed to growing stress and suicide cases. He added that the practice of Jeevan Vigyan promotes self-realization and meditation to restore mental balance.
Press Council Nepal member Padam Raj Joshi, Federation of Nepali Journalists Chairperson Nirmala Sharma, and ministry officials were among the participants at the event.
