Visiting Mongolia's Minister calls on Speaker Gharti

KATHMANDU: Visiting Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Tsend Munkh-Orgil, today called on Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar at Singha Durbar, in Kathmandu.

On the occasion, the duo discussed matters of bilateral cooperation and interests. Speaker Gharti said both the countries should work in collaboration to cope up with the challenges they face as landlocked countries, informed Speaker's media advisor Babin Sharma.

The Mongolian Minister is scheduled to call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal separately today itself.

Tsend arrived here last night on a three-day official visit.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat hosted a luncheon in honour of his Mongolian counterpart.
