TU will soon get officials, says PM

Kathmandu, July 30:

Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala today told a delegation of the Tribhuvan University Teachers’ Association (TUTA) that he will make sure that the university rector and registrar are appointed without any delay.

He made this promise while entertaining a memorandum from TUTA office-bearers at his residence today.

“The PM has assured us that he will see to it that the registrar and rector are appointed. He said he would talk to the education minister in this regard,” TUTA president, Shiva Prasad Munakarmi, said.

“We are hopeful that cabinet meeting will be fruitful. The PM has reassured us that he will talk to Pradeep Nepal in this regard,” Munakarmi said.
