KATHMANDU: Police on Thursday arrested two people for trading fake Indian currencies from Pradrashani Marga, Bhrikutimandap, KMC-31.

Both of them are Indian nationals.

According to the police, they arrested 26-year-old Shaser Khan of Sidhhartha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh in India and 20-year-old Sarfarah Khan of Kishangunj, Bihar.

The police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Singhadurbar, also confiscated a total of 11 bundles of notes of IRs 500 denominations.

Investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
