Two persons were arrested from Butwal on the charge of murdering Prakash Ghartimagarand

Purna Bahadur Ghartimagar, at a guest house in Gongabu here.

A special police team arrested Chhabi Lal Ghartimagar and his accomplice Om Ghartimagar from Butwal on Sunday.

Chhabi Lal is the elder brother of Purna Bahadur, police said adding that he has already admitted to the crime.

“Chhabi Lal said he killed his younger brother because he had an illicit relation with his wife and had impregnated her,” the police quoted him as saying.

“He fled the village two years ago. When I learnt that he had returned from a Gulf country and was living in Kathmandu, I came here and killed him,” the police quoted him as saying.

Chhabi Lal killed Prakash when he tried to resist. Bodies of Prakash and Purna Bahadur were found in Magar Guest House at nearby Gongabu New Bus park on May 10.
