Two killed, over 10 hurt in bus mishap
Kathmandu, April 24:
Two persons were killed and over 10 others injured when a bus heading for Ratnapark from Dakshinkali turned turtle at Pharping this afternoon.
According to police, Basanta Rana and Indraman Maharjan were killed on the spot. The injured are undergoing treatment at TU Teaching Hospital. Their condition is reported to be stable.
The Valley Traffic Police Office, Ramshahpath, said five persons were killed and 28 seriously injured in 118 road accidents in the Valley within a month — from March 15 to April 15.
Releasing its monthly report, the office said that 24 persons sustained minor injuries in road accidents in Chaitra. Altogether 188 vehicles were involved in accidents.
