KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in burglary at Samsung mobile showroom at Bhatbhateni supermarket at Chabahil, Kathmandu.

According to police, Jitendra Rauniyar of Birgunj Sub-metropolitan-7 and Jay Ram Shrestha of Ramechhap were held from Kathmandu with 28 pieces of stolen mobile phones in their possession.

The burglars had made off with 83 Samsung mobile phones and Rs 2.8 million after breaking in the store on June 1, 2018.

The arrestees are kept at Metropolitan Police circle in Gaushala for further legal proceedings, police informed.
