KATHMANDU: Police said two persons were found dead in different locations of Kathmandu on Thursday.

A man in his early 60s was found dead on a roadside in Bouddha of Kathmandu today. The man is yet to be identified.

In another case, another yet-to-be-identified woman was found dead at a rented room of Laxmi Pariyar in Thahiti, KMC-17 today.

The woman in her mid 20s is said to be a permanent resident of Sindhupalchok district.

Police said the woman had asked for a refuge at Pariyar's rented room in Thahiti, claiming she could not find her brother's room.

Pariyar told police that the woman had coughed thrice and had not responded while the shelter provided had called her.

After she did not wake up today, Pariyar had called police.

Meanwhile, police detained Pariyar for further investigation.
