Kathmandu, May 29:

Two persons robbed Ram Prasad Sharma of Rs 150,000 in cash after forcibly taking away his bag, at Hattisar today.

Sharma had just emerged from the Hattisar Branch of Bangladesh Bank when the incident took place, police said.

“The two looters were on a bike. The pillion rider snatched Sharma’s bag before speeding away in their vehicle,” police said.

Separately, two persons yesterday afternoon made away with a gold necklace weighing three tolas, of Ruti Surekar, at Kamalpokhari. The culprits were aboard a motorcycle as they snatched the necklace from the lady.
