Two thefts reported on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: Police reported two cases of theft at different places of Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday.

Property worth Rs 110,000 including Rs 30,000 cash and a laptop were stolen from the rented room of Jamuna Sapkota, a permanent resident of Bigu-7 of Baglung district, nearby the Radhakrishna Temple in Banasthali, KMC-16.

While there was no one present, the thieves had entered the room from a back window, according to police.

In another case, property worth Rs 128,000 was stolen from two adjacent rooms of a house in Prayag Pokhari, LSMC-12.

Rs 10,000 cash from the room of Sudarshan Pandit and Rs 13,000 cash and gold and silver jewellery from the room of Kabita Thapa Magar were stolen.

While looking for the suspects, police are investigating into both cases.
