KATHMANDU: Police reported two incidents of theft in assorted locations of Kathmandu Valley on Thursday.

A gang of unidentified thieves barged into the room of Phul Kumari Lama in Kumaristhan, KMC-16 after breaking the lock and made off with Rs 100,000 cash, police said.

In a similar incident, valuables worth Rs 111,000 including Rs 1,000 cash and gold jewellery were stolen from the rented room of Ladim Khadka in Muhan Pokhari, Budhanilakantha Municipality-6 of Kathmandu yesterday.

While looking for suspects, police are simultaneously carrying out further investigations.
