KATHMANDU: UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at latter's office in Shital Niwas on Thursday.

Issues related to current political situation and ongoing constitution drafting process were discussed in the meeting.

On the occasion, Dahal informed the President that they were ready to address the right demands raised by the Madhes-centric parties as they were expressing their dissatisfaction on the delineation of new provinces.

Dahal further informed the President that they had called the disgruntled parties for talks therefore; the issues would be resolved through dialogue, said Dahal's aide Chuda Mani Khadka.

Earlier, senior leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN-Maoist had jointly issued a press release and invited the Madhes-centric parties for talks.
