UK team to visit Nepal on March 20
Kathmandu, March 8:
A six-member team of cross party parliamentary group, including four members from the House of Commons and two from the House of Lords, is arriving Kathmandu on March 20 for a week-long visit. The group is being led by Sir John Stanley, who was also a former minister in the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and currently represents the Conservative party of UK, according to the British embassy sources in Kathmandu. The British leaders are visiting Nepal to gauge the current political situation in Nepal. The team will meet Nepali political leaders, government officials and may get audience with the King.
