UML CC continues discussion on Chairman's dossier
KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML Central Committee continued discussions on party Chairman KP Sharma Oli's political document on the second day of its meeting.
On Saturday, Chairman Oli had presented a 12-page report before the Committee and the meeting had divided the CC members into 10 groups for detailed discussions.
The very teams are holding the discussions at the party headquarters in Dhumbarahai of the Capital currently.
The report has discussed issues on post-Constitution political developments in the nation and the party’s role in it.
The report has claimed that the Constitution promulgated from the Constituent Assembly last year, for which the party had led as Oli claimed, was a historical achievement for the nation.
The report has analysed and presented the party’s views on other dimensions of current political developments including the border blockade imposed by India, demands raised by Madhes-based political parties and attempts to resolve them, Oli’s visit to India and China as the Prime Minister, performance of the government, as well as the steps the party should take in compliance in the changed political context.
The meeting is scheduled to last till Tuesday.
