UML central committee meeting today

Kathmandu, April 8 The Central Committee meeting of the ruling CPN-UML is scheduled to be held tomorrow. The party’s politburo meeting, however, has yet to conclude. The CC meeting being held after almost a year will take place at the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Baluwatar. A report prepared by Prime Minister Oli, who is also the party chair, will be presented at the central committee meeting. The politburo meeting of the party will be held on Saturday evening, according to UML office secretary Krishna Gopal Shrestha. Members for the party’s central departments and advisory committee will be made at the meeting. The meeting will also discuss amendment to the party’s statute.
