UML for working with NC

Kathmandu, October 15

The CPN-UML standing committee meeting today stressed on working together with Nepali Congress to deal with national issues.

The meeting also entrusted party chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli with holding consultations with the Nepali Congress on the matter.

After the meeting, UML standing committee member Surendra Pandey said the UML has decided to work together with the NC to sort out the current national problems.

Similarly, the meeting urged the government to immediately take diplomatic initiatives to ease supplies from India to Nepal.

The meeting discussed Cabinet expansion. Leader Pandey said that the meeting also dwelled on modality for finalizing the names of ministers from the party new the new government led by party chairman Oli.

The meeting congratulated and extended best wishes to Prime Minister Oli and other ministers for their successful tenure.
