Kathmandu, November 27:

A delegation led by CPN-UML standing committee member Bamdev Gautam today handed over a memorandum to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) alleging that the government is “planning a conspiracy” to disrupt the party’s planned peaceful rally in the capital on Friday. The memorandum also demanded the NHRC issue a directive to the government to ensure the constitutional rights to movement and the rights to assemble in peaceful manner.
