Lalitpur, October 3:

CPN-UML General Secretary Jhala Nath Khanal today claimed that his party was instrumental in bringing about current political changes.

At a programme organised on the occasion of Dashain, the CPN-UML chief said his party had played a significant role to make the Nepali Congress (NC) adopt the republican agenda and bring the ultra-left CPN (Maoist) to competitive politics.

“The UML should take pride on policies and programme of the government because the policy document has incorporated vital programmes.”
