KATHMANDU: Police on Friday recovered the body of an unidentified woman, suspected to have been ditched after a murder, from Muhan Pokhari, Nagarkot-11 of Bhaktapur.

Police had reached the site after locals of the area informed police that they noticed a hand of the body buried, the Bhaktapur-based Metropolitan Police Range spokesperson DSP Krishna Prasain told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

The woman who appears to be in her early 20s in not identified yet.

Further investigation is underway.
