Unification with NCP (NCP) not happening: DPM Yadav

KATHMANDU: The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) has rubbished all rumours of the party's possible unification with the newly registered Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

Issuing a statement, party chair and Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav denied any immediate possibility of the FSFN merging with NCP (NCP).

"Our attention has been drawn towards the numerous news of the party heading towards a unification with NCP (NCP). There is not one iota of truth in these premeditated, baseless rumours," the statement reads.

The statement further clarifies that although the party may work towards unification with a party that resonates with FSFN's ideologies and policies in future, there is no possibility of a unification at present.
