KATHMANDU: The United States has expressed its concern over the management of transitional justice in Nepal.

In a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi at the Ministry of Home Affairs today, US Ambassador to Nepal Alaina B Teplitz expressed her interests over the issue among other contemporary political concerns, according to Nidhi's Secretariat.

During the meeting, Teplitz had told the DPM that the US was for peace and progress in Nepal and it would continue its support for the same.

Meanwhile, DPM Nidhi expressed his gratitude to the US for the support it has been providing.
