Vitamin A programme launched
KATHMANDU: Children aged between six months to five years were administered with Vitamin A and worm medicine across the nation today. According to Raj Kumar Pokhrel, chief of nutrition section under Child Health Division, the drop has been administered to 90 per cent of the targeted population on the first day of the two-day programme. Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), in assistance of UNICEF, has plans to administer the drop to around 3.8 million children across the country within the two days.
