VoIP operator held from Tokha

KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested a man for allegedly operating the illegal Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system in Tokha of the Capital.

Dil Bahadur Bohara (29), a permanent resident of Ranasingh Kiteni-4 of Baglung district, was arrested by a team deployed from the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police from Milantol, Tokha-13 yesterday.

Police confiscated various equipment including antennas, laptops, batteries, routers, modems and SIM cards from his possession.

The CIB is looking into the case and preparing to prosecute him.
