Voting starts to elect new leadership in NBA
KATHMANDU: Voting has started to elect a new leadership of the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) on Saturday.
Chief Election Officer Hari Shanker Niraula shared that the voting had started at all 36 polling centres across the country from 8:15 am this morning. It will last at 4.00 pm today.
Total 71 candidates have filed their candidacies for the 25 posts of NBA executive committee. The NBA has total 9,522 voters.
The competition is taking place between Sher Bahadur KC-led democratic panel and Bijaya Kanta Mainali-led progressive panel.
