KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police on Friday appealed to all not to post any “indecent” content on social networking sites.

Any indecent post or comment which promotes hatred among communities and jeopardises communal harmony should be avoided, it added.

Police also said that anyone found posting such comments would be fined upto Rs 100,000 or sentenced to five years in jail or both, as per Section 47 of the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008.
