Westerly wind likely to bring rainfall on Friday, Saturday
KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division said westerly wind is likely to bring light drizzle on Friday and Saturday. The weather is going to be partly cloudy in the hilly region and generally fair in the rest of the country on Friday, according to MFD.
Similarly, the weather will be by and large cloudy with chances of light rain with thunder in the hilly region and the possibility of light snowfall in the mountainous region on Saturday.
According to senior meteorologist Sudan Subedi, the central, eastern and western hilly regions will be generally cloudy over the weekend. There will be a gradual improvement in the weather from tonight starting from the western part of the country, Subedi added.
In the last 24 hours, Jumla and Kathmandu received 30 and 29 millimetres rainfall respectively.
