Bhaktapur, September 2:

The Road Division Office Bhaktapur has recently constructed around 200-metre section of Lokanthali-Tikathali road in Budhathoki village in Madhyapur Thimi-17.

According to officers at Bhaktapur Road Division Office, the section of the road, which was on priority, was blacktopped nearly a month ago.

Locals said they were happy that the road was black-topped. Purna Budhathoki, a local of Budathoki village, said the construction has helped them a lot.

He said, “The road

used to get muddy during the rainy season. But they are relieved from the problem now.”

He said people from other villages also use the road to visit Ram Mandir.

Another local said he was also satisfied with the quality of the work. He said, “The staff of road division have done a really appreciable job this time because the quality of the road is far better than it was in the past.”

He added, “Last

year too, the road division had blacktopped some section of the road,

but it was damaged within a month.”
