Kathmandu, March 20:
The World Hindu Federation Nepal National Committee is all set to hold its first national conference in the premises of Manakamana Temple in Gorakha district from Monday to Tuesday, a press release issued by the federation said today.
About 1,800 representatives; including five each from 75 district branches, two each from 38 institutional members, 1,200 members for life, invited guests and intellectuals; will take part in the conference. The conference will elect new chairman for the next term and endorse annual programmes.
The meet will also formulate programmes to conserve and develop the Hindu religion and culture in the country.
