The winter session of the Federal Parliament is beginning on Monday. The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Devraj Ghimire, has confirmed that all preparations for the parliamentary meetings have been completed.
Assessing the ongoing preparations for the Federal Parliament's winter session today, Speaker Ghimire emphasized the importance of passing more bills required for the state during the session.
He also mentioned a commitment to work towards making the winter session more effective by scheduling the parliamentary session calendar.
Ghimire stated that the government has assured to present more bills to the House, thereby providing more business. "All should exert efforts to enact laws according to the target by conducting House business. We should progress by learning lessons to create rays of hope, not disappointments," added the Speaker.
Assistant Spokesperson of the Federal Parliament, Dasharath Dhamala, mentioned that the Speaker has already conducted consultations with the Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs regarding the bills.
