KATHMANDU: Police arrested a man from Kapan, Budhanilkantha Municipality on charges of stabbing his wife to death.

The arrestee has been identified as 40-year-old Subas Rai of Devisthan in Khotang district.

According to police, 35-year-old Pramila Rai who was stabbed by her husband over a minor dispute died on course of treatment at Helping Hand Hospital based at Chahabil in Kathmandu.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
