KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday arrested a woman in possession of 3 kg hashish.

The suspect has been identified as Bina Lama (24) of Makwanpur and currently residing at Thankot, Chandragiri Municipality-7.

Acting on tip-off that Lama had conceled a huge cache of hashish at her room, a police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, carried out a raid at her room and seized the contraband.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
