KATHMANDU: A trader has been nabbed while she was planning to sell meat from dead chickens, from Tokha of Kathmandu on Monday.

Niran KC (38), owner of KC Chicken in Deepjyoti, Tokha Municipality-13, was arrested while she was unloading 79 dead fowls from a Bolero jeep today.

The woman, a resident of Ugratara VDC-3 of Kavrepalanchok district, had brought them from Sarlahi, police said.

The police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Sector, Gongabu, also impounded the vehicle (Na 3 Cha 169) for further investigations.

Police are looking into the case.
