KATHMANDU: A woman was seriously injured when a bus rammed her scooter, at Bagbazaar of Kathmandu on Friday.

The injured has been identified as Neha Sharma.

The passenger bus (Ba 3 Kha 4897), belonging to the Sanyukta Yatayat, heading toward Ratna Park, hit the scooter(Ba 63 Pa 3917), heading to Putalisadak at around 10:30 this morning, said Inspector Sunil Jung Shah of Metropolitan Traffic Police Circle, Durbarmarg.

Sharma is being treated at the Trauma centre of Bir Hospital.

Meanwhile, police impounded the four-wheeler, but its driver and conductor are on the run. Police are on the run.

Following the accident, agitating passengers and locals vandalised the bus and obstructed the road for some time.
