KATHMANDU: A woman was robbed of her Rs 91,000 in cash at Radhe Radhe of Madhyapur Thimi on Friday.

Police said that two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons snatched away a purse containing the cash of Maya Devi, a permanent resident of Ramechhap, while she was returning home.

She said it was her three-month salary and Dashain bonus.

She is a handicapped and a teacher by profession at the Shree Nilbarahi Primary School.

Upreti said that the man, who was riding pillion on the black pulsar bike, was wearing a t-shirt and a half pant.

Police are searching for the absconding suspects.
