The Thapathali-based Metropolitan Women’s Traffic Police Post is regulating traffic at Thapathali Chowk, Tripureshwor, Bhotebahal and Sundhara. Rama Bharati is one of the 125 traffic policewomen engaged in traffic management. Rama says drivers disobey traffic rules. Over 1,300 traffic police personnel are working in traffic management in Nepal. Twenty traffic policewomen have been working at the Thapathali-based traffic police post. There are vacancies for 25 traffic policewomen.
