Women journalists meet Prez
KATHMANDU: A delegation of women journalists met President Dr
Ram Baran Yadav at the latter’s official residence on Monday.
Nearly 100 women journalists from different districts, who had arrived in the capital to take part in the women journalists’ national meet, were called by the President himself.
During the meeting, the delegation members apprised the President of the difficulties they were facing in course of carrying out duties. Expressing a grave concern over the murder attempt on Rukum-based journalist Tika Bista, they asked for collective commitment from the parties to ensure the rights to freedom.
