KATHMANDU:

Alleging Nepal 1TV of violating Nepal’s law, a writ petition was filed at the Supreme Court on Wednesday seeking an order to the government authorities to “control it.” Bhupendra Pokhrel filed the petition alleging Nepal 1 has been violating law as it is not registered with any authority. The PMO and Cabinet, the Information Ministry, Nepal 1 TV and its proprietor Birendra Yadav have been made defendants in the petition.
