KATHMANDU: A 24-year-old youth drowned in a well at Koteshwor Mahadevsthan of Kathmandu on Saturday.

After receiving the information, police from the Metropolitan Police Sector, Koteshwor along with a disaster management team had rescued the man who had fallen into the well, police said.

He, however, breathed his last during treatment at the Kantipur Hospital of Tinkune, police added.

Further investigation is underway.
