KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man accused of stealing a motorbike and selling it, from Sanogaun, Lalitpur, on Thursday.

Bikas Tamang (24) of Hokse-8, Kavre, currently residing at Sanogaun has been arrested, said police.

Tamang is accused of stealing the black Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle (Ba 26 Pa 1536) belonging to Bigendra Mishra from Singha Durbar in 2009/2010.

Meanwhile, the Melamchi Area Police Office in Sindhupalchok has also arrested the person who bought the stolen bike from Tamang, according to police.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
