KATHMANDU: A person died and another sustained critical injuries while getting off a bus at Bafal, Soaltee Mode junction in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Kathmandu on Sunday.

Anup Silwal (21) of Dhuse-7 in Dhading district died whereas Dol Prasad Silwal (55) of the same place was injured while both were getting off the passenger vehicle (Ba 2 Kha 856) .

Both of them had been taken to the Bir hospital for treatment, but Anup was declared dead on arrival.

Dol Prasad has been referred to City Centre Hospital in Kalanki for further treatment, informed police.
