KATHMANDU: Arun Intercontinental Traders (AIT), authorised distributor of Suzuki is all set to venture into light commercial vehicle segment with the

all-new ‘Suzuki Super Carry’. The company currently offers Omni cargo as a versatile cargo transporter and with this product the company is set to expand its wings in the light commercial segment.

It recently ventured into the Utility segment with the launch of Vitara Brezza and along with Super Carry, AIT is stepping beyond its comfortable boundary of passenger and van segment player to a brand that caters to the need of different customers of different segments.

Powered by 793 cc twin-cylinder diesel engine, Suzuki Super Carry comes paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The light commercial vehicle produces a maximum power of 32 bhp at 3500 rpm and a peak torque of 75 Nm at 2000 rpm. This commercial vehicle delivers a mileage of 22.07 kmpl. The company claims a top speed of 80 kmph.

The Super Carry comes with a loading bay of 3.25 sq metre and offers a payload capacity of 740 kg. Its clearance stands at 175mm while suspension is taken care by Macpherson struts at the front and a rigid axle with leaf springs at the rear. The wheelbase measures 2110 mm and offers the turning radius of at 4.3 metres.

This LCV gets all the basic features including a light steering wheel, mobile charging socket, dual assist grip, multi-purpose storage spaces, and lockable glove box and bottle holders. Riding on 14-inch wheels, the LCV is equipped with load sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) braking system with the front disc and rear drum brakes.
