Gionee rolls out S6 Pro, P7 Max handsets in Nepal
KATHMANDU: Gionee has launched two new smartphones — the S6 Pro and P7 Max — in the Nepali market. The P7 Max boasts an eye catching, shimmering design, which Gionee has dubbed ‘aglare visual sense’, that houses a 5.5-inch HD screen.
It comes equipped with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera with screen flash feature. The rear camera has fast shutter speed and fast focus feature (0.2 second) thanks to PDAF technology. The P7 is powered by an MT6595 Octa Core 2.2 GHz CPU, and a 3100 mAH battery. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
The phone runs on Amigo 3.2 — Gionee’s own UI based on Android 6.0. It is priced at Rs 21,999. The S6 Pro is a more advanced version of the recently launched S6s. It combines 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and is powered by a 64-bit Octa Core 1.8 GHz Helio P10 processor. The S6 Pro has a fully metallic body that carries a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD 2.5 D water-drop glass display (with Gorilla Glass 3 protection). It boasts a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera with screen flash. It also features a front fingerprint scanner which can also be used for clicking photographs. The dual SIM (hybrid dual SIM slot) phone has a 3130 mAh battery and features USB Type C charging. It runs on Gionee’s own Amigo 3.2 UI based on Android 6.0.1.
It is available in silver, gold and rose gold colours at a price of Rs 34,999.
