Vidushi Rana

Vidushi Rana, of the Universal Group Companies, says, “My relationship with my husband is perfect.” They both love to travel and have solemnly promised to never tire of it, she says. “He is my best friend, my confidant and my everything. I cannot imagine my life without him. He is a good son, a wonderful father and a very loving husband,” says Vidushi.

How do you spend your time together?

We both love spending time with each other. We talk, watch movies, go out on vacations and enjoy each other’s company.

 

Most memorable romantic getaway

We visited many romantic destinations on our honeymoon in Europe. We travelled across the continent for five weeks. Of all the places that we visited South of Italy left us enchanted. Europe is definitely the most romantic place for us.

Romantic getaway you would suggest

Florence in Italy, Dubrovnik in Croatia, Portoroz in Slovania and Capri, South of Italy. They are all charming places and worth exploring.

Where are you planning to travel this Valentine’s Day? Why?

We are going to Maldives on February 8 to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Super excited for that!

Memorable romantic getaway you have had with your wife?

There are plenty but the one close to my heart is our trips to my hometown, Dolakha. The one that we both fondly remember is our visit to The Great Wall of China and Shaolin temple in Zhengahou. It was our first holiday after the wedding.

 

How would you prefer to spend Valentine’s day?

We always take time to reflect our blissful years together and ensure that our children participate in our celebration, no matter where we spend our time. Even going out for dinner becomes a loving affair.

Any romantic getaway you would like to suggest?

There are many places to explore in Nepal itself. I would suggest Mustang - Lo- Manthang, Thasang Village Lodge in Tukuche.

What are your plans for this Valentine’s Day?

We are camping out in the wild this Valentine’s Day and we’ll have our children with us..

What would you like doing when you are together?

With the kids around and hectic schedule, just spending some quiet quality time together is something we really look forward to. Also we enjoy going out for movies and bike rides together.

 

Romantic getaway you have had with your wife?

Last year we went riding up to Mustang and back. We had great time together and really enjoyed ourselves. It was adventurous and exciting yet at the same time nice and romantic.

Any romantic getaway you would like to suggest?

Pokhara is very romantic and besides that Annapurna Base camp is another romantic getaway on our wish list. Outside Nepal, Venice is very romantic and would love to go there soon.

What are your plans for this Valentine’s Day?

My plan is to get my wife to take me out for a romantic dinner and shower me with flowers and chocolates.
