BAJURA: Sudur Sahitya Samaj Pratishthan (Literary Society) has been formed in the district for the first time.

The society was formed to revitalise the literature and culture of the district, according to a press meet. The aim of forming this society is to preserve the literary and cultural aspects of the district, including Deuda, Chaitalo and other such cultural elements of the region.

The Pratisthan has been registered at the District Administration Office.

Harka Khadayat has been elected the chair of the society. Other office bearers at the society are Pratima Thapa (vice chair), Krishna Oli (secretary), Padam Kadayat (joint secretary), and Ramit BK (treasurer).

Similarly, Ashok Joshi and Bandhana Rokaya are among other members of the society.
