Latest SUV from Mahindra has a tough, bold and stylish character

Agni Incorporated, authorised distributor of Mahindra, launched its much awaited tough and stylish true

blue SUV — TUV300 in the Nepali market on April 18. The TUV300 is inspired by a battle tank, which gives it a tough, bold and stylish character. The company is coming up with three variants of TUV300 — T4, T6+ and T8AMT with

a diesel engine.

Powered by a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder, mHawk80 diesel engine, the Mahindra TUV300 delivers a maximum power of 84 bhp at 3750 rpm and a peak torque of 230 Nm at 1500 to 2250 rpm. Its eco-mode function and micro-hybrid technology ensure economic fuel consumption of 18.49 kmpl. The T8 variant comes with five-speed manual transmission with AMT as an option.

The TUV300 is stylish and comfortable from inside offering dual-tone black and beige interiors with chrome finish and metal accents. It is equipped with a smart dashboard with classy, piano-black centre fascia and a hexagon-shaped centre bezel, which gives a contemporary look to cabin. With its infotainment system including 2-DIN audio, Bluetooth, USB and AUX, a stylish steering wheel, steering-mounted audio and phone controls with sporty twin-pod instrument cluster, the TUV300 is ready to captivate the customers.

The SUV has double wishbone front suspension and rigid axle multi-link rear suspension. It offers a notable ground clearance of 191 mm and fuel capacity of 60 litres. Safety provisions on the Mahindra TUV300 include dual airbags, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, corner brake control (CBC), and automatic door locking. It’s squared out design, muscular haunches and wheel arches makes the SUV worth to drive.

Other features like static-bending headlamps, brake energy regeneration, intelligent parking assist system, voice messaging system, driver info-rmation system, blue sense mobile app and micro-hybrid technology makes this SUV distinct from others.

In Nepal the TUV300 will be available in five attractive shades of Verve blue, Dynamite Red, Glacier White, Majestic Silver and Bold Black. The prices start at Rs 35,95,000 for T4, Rs 38,95,000 for T6+, and Rs 44,95,000 for T8.
