Ribbon Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. has opened applications for Mrs Nepal World 2026, with the national pageant for married women set to culminate in the grand finale on Kartik 14 (late October).
The announcement was made at a press conference in Lalitpur on Wednesday, where organisers said this year's edition would be held on a larger scale with a stronger focus on women's leadership, confidence and international representation.
Ribbon Entertainment Chairman Nishu Kant Jha said the pageant aims to promote empowerment, social responsibility and personal development among Nepali women while strengthening Nepal's presence on the global pageant stage.
The first round of auditions will be held in Kathmandu on Shrawan 23. Organisers said there are no height or weight requirements, and applications are open to married women as well as single women with a minimum educational qualification of SEE/SLC or its equivalent. Application forms are available through the Khalti app and the organiser's official website.
Selected contestants will undergo a 45-day grooming programme led by national and international experts, covering personality development, leadership, communication, public speaking, runway skills, fitness and social responsibility.
Besides crowning Mrs Nepal World 2026, the competition will also select Mrs Nepal International 2026, MS International 2026 and the newly introduced Mrs Nepal Cosmo 2026.
The winner of Mrs Nepal World 2026 will represent Nepal at the Mrs World pageant in the United States next year, while the Mrs Nepal Cosmo titleholder will compete at the Mrs Cosmo international pageant in Myanmar.
Fashion choreography for the event will be led by Ashwini Kant Jha, with dance choreography by Sandeep Bhujel. Event coordination will be handled by Ganga Maharjan, Samrat Shah and Bindiya Shrestha.
Ribbon Entertainment said Nepal has continued to strengthen its profile in international pageantry through the platform. Sanju Bhatta represented the country at Mrs World 2025 in the United States, while Prithviya Thapa won the Humanitarian Award at Mrs World 2023. The organisers said they hope this year's edition will further expand opportunities for Nepali women to showcase their leadership, talent and cultural heritage on the international stage.
