New Safari Storme arrives in town
KATHMANDU: Tata Motors launched the new Storme LET on March 16 in the Nepali market. The new SUV is loaded with new performance and connectivity features — drivenext and connectnext, based on the company’s customer focused horizonext strategy. With renewed 156 PS power, the new 2.2L varicor 400 engine now produces a peak torque of 400Nm. “With a massive road presence, along with superior on- and off-road capabilities, the new Storme LET VX with new six-speed gear box, will further exemplify excitement and performance quotient of Nepal’s fastest growing SUV segment,” said Hemant Puranik, Country Manager of Nepal, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors. Meanwhile, Rajan Babu Shrestha, COO of Sipradi Trading, authorised distributer of Tata said, “With a ground clearance of 200 mm, new Storme LET comes equipped with anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, crumple zones, side intrusion beams on all four doors with dual SRS airbags and collapsible steering column keeps passengers safe from all sides.”
