KATHMANDU: Advanced Automobiles Pvt Ltd, authorised distributor for Renault SAS is all set to launch its much awaited two models — Duster and Kwid on August 29. The New Renault Duster comes with six-speed Easy-R AMT which assures a comfortable driving experience. Powered by 1598 cc engine, the compact SUV delivers a maximum power of 104 PS at 5750 rpm and peak torque of 148 Nm at 3750 rpm. The car offers an impressive ground clearance of 210 mm.

Renault Kwid is a SUV-inspired compact car that offers a high driving position and great visibility. The five-seater KWID’s features include adaptable ergonomic seats, electric power steering and one-touch lane change indicator that offer superior comfort and smooth driving experience. Powered by 799 cc petrol engine, the compact car delivers a maximum power of 53 bhp at 5678 rpm and peak torque of 72 Nm at 4386 rpm.

Adhir Kumar Shrestha, General Manager, Advanced Automobiles said, “We are positive about the sales of both models — Duster and Kwid. Duster is mainly for off-road driving; its speed control system and impressive ground clearance makes this compact SUV different than others.” He also informed that as compared to many entry level compact cars, Kwid offers a large boot space, touch screen system and an impressive ground clearance of 180 mm.

In Nepal Kwid will be available in five different colours — Red, Grey, Silver, Bronze and White, and Duster in seven different colours — Black, Brown, Green, Grey, Orange, Silver and White.
